With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene S. Sharp of Wapakoneta, Ohio, born in Lima, Ohio, who passed away on July 2, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Jesse Spencer; and his former wife Ruth E. Winters. He is survived by: his stepdaughter R. Christine Flora of Santee, CA; his granddaughters, Michelle R. Osterhout (Wesley) of Marysville, OH and Tammy J. Hickerson (Justin) of Holland, OH; his stepgranddaughters, Hannah and Chloe Flora; his great grandchildren, Nicholas Osterhout (Bethany), Libby Murray (Seth), Lindsey Mathewson and Luke Mathewson; his daughter Rhonda Lynn Sites; and his siblings, Jack E. Sharp, Robert D. Sharp and Marjorie Martha Thompson.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Auglaize County Humane Society.
