He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo J. Merschman and Dorothy L. Merschman (May); his brother Dwayne; and his brother-in-law Carl Sammetinger. He is survived by: his sons, Joseph W. Merschman (Anara) and Jason E. Merschman (Sheryl) of Raymond, OH; his grandchildren, Spencer Merschman, Sam Merschman and Gunner Merschman; his sister Marcile Merschman; and his brothers-in-law, William Sammetinger (Sharon) and Fritz Sammetinger (Kathy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory (1102 Lincoln Ave, Wapakoneta, OH 45895). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
