He was predeceased by : his mother Edna Roberts (Harter); his son Timothy; his grandson Loren; his great grandchild Joseph; and his siblings, Ruth McDonough, Joline McGowen, Annie Rhoades, Max Roberts, Vince Roberts, Richard "Dick" Roberts and Nellie Roberts.

He is survived by : his father Enos Roberts; his wife Danelda Whetstone; and his children, William Roberts (Sheryl) of Mendon, Joseph Roberts (Diane) of Spencerville, Carl Roberts (Mary) of Spencerville, Diane Schnell of Fairborn, Mark Roberts (Sharon) of Spencerville, Jeff Roberts (Kim) of Ashville, Janet Ball (Dave) of Spencerville, Kenny Roberts (Tammy) of Spencerville, Jane Swint (Gary) of Spencerville, Jean Hasson (Bob) of Spencerville, Paula Veatch (Denny) of Port St, Teresa Stout (Doug) of Spencerville, Pamela Brown (Scott) of Spencerville, Dennis Roberts (Tabitha) of Greenville, Andy Roberts (Tennile) of Spencerville and Carol Seffernick (Bryan) of Celina. He is also survived by thirty-six grandchildren; fourty-five great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In honor of Paul, preferred memorials may be given to the Wapakoneta Rescue Squad or Hospice.
