He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard L. Pyles, Sr. and Jeanne M. Pyles (Donaldson); his sister Joan Jacobs; his siblings-in-law, Big Rick Burden (Genny) and Frances Pyles; and his nephew John Brown.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sarah E. Kelsey (Roger) and Kaia Pyles (Jacob Anderson); his pet Joey; his sibling's children, Robin Pyles (Alice), Chris Pyles (Brenda), Greg Pyles (Jessie), Brad Pyles (Mercedes), Brent Pyles (Crystal), Rebecca Brown, Lawrence "Bud" Brown (Karen), Louisa Elchart (Skip), Amanda Phillips Brown, Shane Burden (Tina), Aimee Horstman (Jason), Nicole McMillan (Terrell) and Amanda Burden; and also, Leonard "Lee" Pyles, Jr., Terry Pyles (Susy) and Michael Pyles (Kathy).
