He is survived by: his wife Nancy Shields of Warren, OH; his son Robert Taylor (Waneta) of Warren, OH; his brothers, Patrick "Mike" Shields and David Shields; his grandchildren, James (Mel), Danté, Troy, Ashley, Julie (Shane) and Zach; his nieces, Gigi and Donna; his nephew Jack; and his pet Girly. He is also survived by two great-nephews; one great-niece.
