She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert H. Smith and Nellie E. Smith; her sister Janie Smith; her son William Griffin; and her grandson Ross Griffin.

She is survived by: her husband Arthur E. Griffin; her children, Janie Cunningham (Kevin) of Fort Wayne, IN, Bob Griffin (Cindy) and Heidi VanDevender (Dave) of Warren; her daughter-in-law Kim Griffin of Howland; her grandchildren, Mandy Cunningham, Connor Griffin (Lacey), Matthew VanDevender (Jenna Dorchock) and Haley Ann VanDevender; and her great grandchild Mackenzie Mae Wilhelm.
