He was predeceased by: his father Arthur F. Stroud; and his son David S. Stroud. He is survived by: his mother Karen Stroud-Rewt (McClimans) of Leavittsburg, OH; his wife Elisa M. Stroud (Peters) of Warren, OH; his sons, Arthur "AJ" Stroud, Jr., Sage J. Stroud of Sabastian, J. P, Rayne E. Stroud and Gabriel X. R. Stroud; and his sisters, Claire E. Savitts (Steven) of Leavittsburg, OH and Penny Albaugh (Mel) of Mecca, OH.
