He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Barrett and Matilda Trinkley Barrett; his wife Rose A. Barrett (Mercenzo); his son Charles "Chuck" Barrett Jr.; his granddaughter Amber Denise Barrett; and his siblings, Theresa Weakland, Betty Kantz, Catherine Sherif, Michael Barrett and Bud Barrett.
He is survived by: his children, Bernadette Luoma (Dennis) of Meadville, PA and Vincent A. Barrett (Donna) of Cortland; and his grandchildren, Nicole Luoma, Dominic Barrett (Elizabeth), Chaz Barrett and Eric Barrett.
The family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish - St. Mary Church.
