He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Eshelman and Julia Eshelman (Heck); his wife Emzie Ann Eshelman (Pulliam); his children, Lynette Eshelman and Robert "Bobby" Eshelman; his stepson Marshall; and his siblings, Jasper Eshelman, Thelma June Eshelman and Shirley Alvin Eshelman.
He is survived by: his children, Rosemary Parks, Arlene Hamilton and Alvin Eshelman (Brenda); and his stepchildren, William Lyons, Susie Williams, Karen Lorentz (Jimmie), Kathy Nahm (Jerry) and Virginia Smithberger (Raymond). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
