He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Charles, Rosie Hottenroth, Tom and Janace Dodson. He is survived by: his parents, Mark Dodson and Cheri Dodson (Hottenroth) of Coventry Township; his brothers, Garrett Dodson (Morgan Hardman) of Champion and Christopher Rowlands (Taylor) of Cortland; and his nephew Brett Rowlands.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to help the family with funeral expenses.
