He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert W. Cowie and Elaine Davin (Kestel); his stepfather Dennis Davin; and his siblings, Mark W. Cowie, Robert W. Cowie Jr. and Barbara Stein.
He is survived by: his siblings, Kathleen Betso, Susan Ross (Richard), Judy Ossachuk (John), Mary Maguire (Curt) and Martin J. Cowie (Trudy); and his siblings-in-law, Bob Stein and Toni Cowie.
