He was predeceased by: his parents, William Meyer and Margaret Meyer; and his daughter Julie Meyer. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Meyer; his son Matthew Meyer (Renee); his grandchildren, Marissa Sorvillo, Lillian "Lilly" Sumpter, Leah Sumpter, Grace Meyer and Lincoln Meyer; and his sisters, Charlotte Gilbert, Roberta Elford and Rita Street. He is also survived by his family, friends.
