He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Putnam and Dorothy Putnam (Erwin); his wife Julia Putnam; and his siblings, John, Charles Putnam and Celia Daugherty.
He is survived by: his children, Sherri Reeder of Champion, Brian Putnam (Kay) of Niles and Chris Putnam (Jen) of Niles; his stepchildren, Sherry Torres (Tony) of Warren and Brian Persin (Cindy) of Newton Falls; his grandchildren, Stacy Masello (Anthony), Kaley Reeder, Brea Sigley (Joe), Megan, Marissa, Kaitlynn, Gavin, Owen and Darrien Putnam; his stepgrandchildren, Anthony, Justin Torres, Dray, Morgan, Ewa and Hunter Persin; Joe Joe. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
