He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur M. Burnett and Laura Burnett (Jones); his stepmother Kate Lynheart; his son Robert "Bobby" Burnett; his sister Shirley; and his brother-in-law Joe Sternthal.
He is survived by: his children, Christina Walker (Jamie), Lu Ann Foster (John), Jo Ann Barrington (John), Susan Burnett Campbell (Lee Turner) and Thomas Burnett (Lisa); and his close friend Mike Coe (Lisa). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
