He is survived by: his wife Pamela Lorent Sweitzer; his children, Edward Sweitzer (Gail), Shane Sweitzer (Rochelle) and Stacie Sweitzer Donaldson; and his sisters, Elizabeth Barham and Mary McAleer (Adrian). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and seven nieces and nephews.
