She was predeceased by: her husband Gus M. Tsimpinos; her son Michael P. Tsimpinos; and her brothers, Konstandinos and Eleftherios Karakatsanis. She is survived by: her children, JoAnne Radu (John) of North Carolina and Victor Tsimpinos of Pennsylvania; her brother Michael Karakatsanis (Ploumi); her sister-in-law Argyro Karakatsanis of Chios, Greece.; and her grandchildren, Chris Kiriakou (Kate) of Illinois, Constantine Kiriakou (Kristen) of North Carolina and Constantine Tsimpinos of Alaska.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Saint Nicholas Orthodox Church in Warren, Ohio and Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Charlotte, North Carolina.
