Ellen left this world on April 19, 2024 at the age of 107, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Foster Joseph and Anna Powell; her husband Orville Beany; her granddaughter Kelly Vigliotti; her stepgranddaughter Shelly Witherspoon; and her siblings, Raymond Powell and Mary "Mildred" Wilson.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Van Huffel and Cheryl Kundel (Robert). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Menagerie.
