He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolf Klinger and Hanna Klinger (Hansen); his aunts and uncles, Onkle Fritz and Tante Hulda Schlacht (Klinger); his wife Margaret; his son Rusty; his brother Ralph Klinger; and his cousin Hans Schlacht.

He is survived by: his daughter Krista; his son-in-law Paul Daniels of Champion; his grandchildren, Erin of Mount Vernon, Ohio and Brian of Leavittsburg; his sister Joan Anthony of Arizona; and his sister-in-law Ethel Flower of Champion. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
