He was predeceased by: his parents, Santos Alvarez and Elena Acevedo Alvarez; his son Frank Michael Alvarez of Youngstown; and his siblings, Paul Alvarez, Samuel Alvarez and Anna Montero.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Alvarez (Melissa) of Vienna and Sarah Graves (Christopher) of Greensboro, NC; and his brothers, William Alvarez (Margaret) of Lordstown and Rito Alvarez (Charlotte) of Akron. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
