He is survived by: his wife Ethel Faklis; his grandchildren, Nicolas Hendryx, Dr. Nathan Hendryx (Michaela) and Arianna Geordan (Adam Wibert); and his sisters, Helen Dontis of Athens and Mary Genkos of Glendale, California..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church (429 High St NE, Warren, OH 44481). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions in George's name be made to the St. Demetrios Scholarship Fund, 429 High Street, Warren, Ohio 44481.
