It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ira M. Ferry of Warren, Ohio, who passed away on January 27, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira M., Sr. and Josephine Ferry (Conklin); his uncle Roy; his aunt Esther Irwin; his siblings, Donald, Gerald Ferry, Dorothy Carrier (William), J. Mary McLaughlin (Everett "Mac") and Genevieve "Jenny" Wrightsman (Ray); and his granddaughter Michelle Ferry.
He is survived by: his wife Ida M. Burky; his children, Michael Ferry of Warren, Thomas Ferry of Warren, LauraAnn Merwin (Kenny) of Bazetta, Renee Dye (Richard) of Warren and Betsy Jo Barbe (Rickey) of Girard; his grandchildren, Velora (Will), John, Jonathan (Amber), Shayla, Erik, Joe, Ciara and Alaina; Kay Ferry. He is also survived by twenty great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and good friends.
Due to the current public health situation, those attending are required to wear a face mask and observe social distancing protocols.
The family requests material contributions be made to Dementia and Alzheimer's research, in his memory.
