He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Godney and Mildred Godney (Harris); and his siblings, Sandy Johnson and Harvey Godney. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Godney (Croyle); his daughter Maria Sue Pantloni (Nick) of Pittsburgh; his grandson Jackson Pantloni; his stepson Zachary Croyle of Warren; and his siblings, Audrey Kasner (Don) of Salem, Ore (Doris Byers), Earl Godney (Barbara) of Warren and Ron Godney of Columbus, Mississippi.

In lieu of flowers, material contributions may be made to Central Baptist Church, 1301 North Rd. Niles, Ohio 44446.
