He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Smith and Lois Smith (Jones); his daughter Melissa Jean Smith; and his siblings, Ethel Gonzalez, Nancy Smith, Carolyn Smith and Bob Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Smith (Kawecki); his daughter Jessica Kistler (Josh) of Southington; his grandchildren, Kasey Jo and Mia Rae Kistler; his niece Lori Chepke; his siblings, D. J. Ipock of North Carolina, Alice Peyatt of Girard, Lou Spier of North Carolina, Kenny Smith of Mineral Ridge and Bill Smith of Niles; his nephew Billy Peyatt (Karen) of Niles; his brother-in-law Gordon Kawecki of Cortland; his siblings' child Ashley Viga (Brian) of Cortland; and also, Jaxson, Christopher, Ian, Isabela and Jim.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home (962 North Rd NE, Warren, OH 44483). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
