He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Eskew Scott (Eddie Scott) and Janeiro Greene; his mother-in-law Manolia Cross; his brother Archie Scott; his son Janeiro "Bwana" Scott; and his grandson Aundra Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Scott; his daughters, Bahiti Watson (Frank), Tiffany Scott and Dominique Scott; and his niece Artrena Jarmon. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
