He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Fred Jones and Johnnie Bell Jones Sr. (Henderson); and his siblings, James Albert Jones, Ronnie Earl Jones, Ruby Calloway, Thelma Anthony, Josephine Jones, Elizabeth Brown, Rachel Mae Jones and Cassandra Ann Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Jones (Young); his children, Michael N. Jones (Stacey) of Chagrin Falls, OH and Monica N. Lewis Jr. (Wayne) of Houghton, NY; his siblings, Beatrice Merriweather (David) of Milwaukee, WI, Annie Bell Jones of Lake Providence, LA and Fred Jones Jr. of Warren, OH; and his grandchildren, Madison Jones, Tyler Jones of Chagrin Falls, OH and Whitley Lewis of Houghton, NY. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Second Baptist Church (1510 Main Ave SW, Warren, OH 44483). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
