He was predeceased by: his father Paul Stehnach; and his brother Michael. He is survived by: his mother Anna Mae Stehnach (Popp); his siblings, Paul Vadim (Kathy) and Nadine; his nieces, Stephanie (Jared) and Courtney (Nicholas); and his great-nephew Benjamin.
