He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Robert Sr. and Freda Kusmierek (Kapelar). He is survived by: his wife Karen Gulish; his daughters, Theresa McKnight of Warren and Jennifer Kusmierek of Champion; his grandchildren, Jessica McKnight and Joseph M. Kusmierek; his great grandchildren, Michael and Emma; and his sister Karen Kress of Meadville. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
