He was predeceased by: his mother Catherine Bizyk Shaker; and his brother Michael T. "Mick" Shaker. He is survived by: his father Francis J. Shaker of Warren; his wife Monica M. Hanna; his children, Joseph S. Shaker (Kim) of Champion, Jacob Shaker (Nicole) of Cortland and Nicole Hayes (Don) of Warren; his siblings, John Shaker (Sue) of Chardon, Alice Silbaugh of Warren and Theresa Shaffer (Eric) of Philadelphia; his grandchildren, Milania, Jacob, Jianna, Christina, Hailey and Bently; his siblings-in-law, Tuya Shaker of Warren and Jeffrey "Jeff" J.; and his friend Bristolville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family, funeral home and church will be practicing social distancing and proper health protocols. Due to the continued and increasing spread of Covid-19, the 6-foot social distancing rule will be honored, and all guests, must wear a mask.
