She was predeceased by: her parents, James Westin and Margaret Fitzgerald Westin. She is survived by: her granddaughters, Paige, Bridget Elliott and Ava Ruder; and her daughter Kathleen Elliott (Joel Ruder) of New Middletown.
Karen's compassion extended further as she dedicated many years volunteering for the American Cancer Society.
