She was predeceased by : her parents, William Charles and Naomi Silvis; her husband James Zion; and her siblings, Wayne, James, Bill Silvis and Shirley Egry.

She is survived by : her daughter Diana James (Don); her grandchildren, Jonathan James (Gaia Gilbaldi) and Jaimee James; and her sister Ruth Melaragno (Vince).
