He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve George and Florence Papalos (Bungard); his former wife Tanya Papalos (Buck); and his close friend Diane Engstrom. He is survived by: his daughter Florence "Flo" Amber Papalos of Cleveland, OH; his sister Katy Chapman (Bill) of Warren, OH; his grandchildren, Mariah Alexis Maffitt and Caden Michael Maffitt; his nieces, Renae Ruiz (Aldrick), Stephanie Cayson (Robert) and Kristina Chapman; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Andreas, Gabriella, Marina and Evangelo; DeVere Gunn-Colbert, III.
