We are sad to announce that, on November 11, 2020, at the age of 100, Laura V. Seeger (Warren, Ohio), born in Cairo, Ohio passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Laura V. Seeger to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Waltz and Ruth Waltz (Martz); her husband Leland Gossard; her daughter Kandace "Kandy" Swain; her stepchildren, Jan Bennett (Jim) and Gus Seeger; and her sisters, Marguerite and Norma.

She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Gossard (Barb) and Kathy Ketterman (Ken); her son-in-law J. Forest Swain; her stepdaughters, Patricia Scharer (John) and Paulette Schill (Jim); and her sister Marilyn Spallinger (David). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Donations can be made payable to either the Salvation Army or to the Humane Society Serving Crawford County.

“We met Laura in Lake Wales where we are wintering from Canada since 2002. She always stopped by to give us some food, she would stop by and chat with us and we would stop by her house when we walked. When she became less mobile we would have her in our house for meals or bring her some food. In the last few years that she was in the park we would install her Christmas decorations inside and we always had a lot of fun May she rest in peace. Our condolences. Suzanne & Pierre Guitor”
