He was predeceased by: his mother Janice Shaver Sr. (Flanagan). He is survived by: his son Brandon Wooding of Warren, Ohio; his father Leroy Shaver Sr. of Warren; and his siblings, Shonta Turner of Warren, Joanna Shaver-Beyah of Columbus, Michelle Stuckey of Cleveland and Shawn Stroud of Warren.
