She was predeceased by: her parents, Constantino Soffos and Stamatia "Stella" Soffos (Pappas); her brothers, Michael and George Soffos; and her brothers-in-law, Vasili "Bill" and Kosta "Gust" Hilas.
She is survived by: her husband John M. Hilas; her daughters, Vivian Zoumas (Christ) and Estelle Hilas; her grandchildren, Angelo Zoumas (Amy) and Anna Zoumas; her great grandchild Christian Zoumas of Howland; her brothers, Zane (Cathy) and Jimmy Soffos (Kae) of Warren; and her brothers-in-law, Nick Hilas (Kalliopi) and Eli Hilas (Sandy) of Warren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mary's name to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 429 High St NE, Warren, OH 44481, OR to the Hilas family to be used towards the repair of the altar at Panaghia Despina Church in Kambia, Chios, Greece.
