Mary Maris Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on May 20, 2022, at the age of 91, Mary Maris of Warren, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Yiannis Spanakis and Sevasti Spanakis; and her sister Joy Spanakis. She is survived by: her children, George Maris (Patricia) of Villa Hills, Jayne Chatzidakis (Chris) of Barrington, IL and Suzanne Santos (Jim) of Riverwoods; her grandchildren, Theo, Peter Maris, Maria, Dori Chatzidakis, Mara, Talia and Michael Santos; her siblings, Faye Paidas (Nick), Betty Spanakis and Michael Spanakis; Yiayia. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, wonderful caregivers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contribution be made in her memory to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church 429 High Street NE, Warren, OH 44481.
