She was predeceased by: her parents, George Morgan and Evelince Gray Morgan; her son John Douglas Porter Jr.; her siblings, Arthur Morgan, Larry Morgan and Gloria Jean Gohlstin; and her great grandchild Angel John Douglas Flanagan.

She is survived by: her husband John Douglas Porter Sr.; her children, Juan D. Porter (NaKita) of Bufford, GA and Angela "Sunshine" Porter of Youngstown; her nephews, Eric Gohlstin of Philadelphia, PA, Christopher Gohlstin of Warren and Santiago Mason of Cleveland; her brothers, George Morgan Jr. of Chattanooga, TN and Ronald Morgan of Warren; her grandchildren, Joubert Porter of Warren, Logan Toth of Warren, Miss Cynthia Porter of Warren and Miss Jordin Porter of Warren; her great grandchildren, Miss JaMyla Porter of Warren and Miss JaMeia Porter of Warren; and her daughter-in-law Cynthia Porter of Warren. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
