He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Johnson and Violet Johnson; his siblings, Geneva Tyson (Charles), Carolyn Robison (Harold), Kenneth and Larry Johnson; and his grandson Jeremy Knicely.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Johnson (Shaffer); his children, Melissa and Michael Johnson Jr. (D'Lynn); his grandchildren, Philip, Lydia and Lara; and his brothers, Jim, David (Donna) and Joe Johnson (Brenda). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home (962 North Rd NE, Warren, OH 44483). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
