She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Hefner and Flora Hefner; her siblings, Leslie Hefner, Lonnie Hefner, Annabelle Barker (Denver), Wilma Stump (James), John Hefner, Joe Hefner (Debbie) and Janie Boggs (Emmett); her stepson Tommy Doan (Charlene); her granddaughter Jaclyn Hefner; and her nephew Gregg Stump (Pam).
She is survived by: her children, Chris Hefner (Misty) of Ligonier, PA, Eric Doan (Kristen) of Howland, OH and Beth (Andy Brooks) of Tappahannock, VA; her stepdaughter Tracey Syreika of Courtdale, PA.; her grandsons, Eric Doan Jr., Clayton Hefner (Bethany), Matthew Doan (Lexi) and Jacob Hefner (Stephanie); her great grandchild Luca Hefner; her siblings-in-law, Emmett Boggs, Richard Doan (Joanne), Brian Doan and Hali Coles; her nephews, Art Stump (Pam), Alfred Boggs (Juli) and Keaton Boggs (Wanda); and her significant other Dachshund.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ Episcopal Church (2627 Atlantic St NE, Warren, OH 44483). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Boy, was she EVER happy to tell everyone she knew about The Greenbrier Hotel during the varying stages of her Alzheimer's disease.
