He was predeceased by: his parents, Oreste DeCapito and Stella DeCapito (Rossi); and his wife Rita DeCapito. He is survived by: his children, Philip O. DeCapito, Teresa "Teri" Dewey, Karen Wires (Wayne), Maria Butcher (Sean) and Cathy Hoerig (Ted); his grandchildren, Philip DeCapito (Mara), Lauren DeCapito (Brian Whitfield), Tom Dewey (Vanessa), Elliot Dewey, Brian Wires (Valerie), Tim Wires, Kevin Wires (Caitlyn), Kyle Butcher, Nick Hoerig (Haley) and Mitchell Hoerig; his great grandchildren, Oakley, Bentley Wires, Cole Whitfield, Asher and Levi Dewey; his sisters-in-law, Peggy Leonard and Sue Boughner; and his caregivers, Beth, Tammy and Phil. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
