He was predeceased by: his parents, Encil Dillon and Essie Hardesty Dillon; and his siblings, Johnny Dillon, Fred Dillon, Bob Dillon, Howard Dillon, Mary Dillon, Carrie Ruth Policisco and Delores Morris.

He is survived by: his wife Diana Oller Dillon; his siblings, Larry Dillon (Debbie), David Dillon (Debbie), Vonda Bianco (Al), JoAnn Wickline (Steve) and Helen Sprague (Russ, Sr.); his sons, Scott Dillon (Becca) of Windham, Adam Dillon (Kelly) of Warren and Ralph Dillon II (Ashley) of Cortland; and his grandchildren, Kyle Simpson, Savannah Simpson, Zack Tenney, Victor Tenney, Savannah Keener, Addison Deuble and Alex Dillon.
