He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Harold N. Baker and Bernice (Ligo) Baker; wife: Sheryl (Sipes); children: Michael Baker (Corrine), Sarah Penney (Jeffrey) and Ryan Baker (Jennifer); grandchildren: Charlie Penney, Jane Penney, Rosanna Penney, Eleanor Baker and baby boy Baker; grandparents: Harold T. Baker, Mary (White) Catchpole, Russell Ligo and Esther (McMillan) Ligo; brother: Charles N. Baker; and several cherished nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home (533 N Park Ave, Warren, OH 44481). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Nurse Honor Guard of Eastern Ohio, Joyful Connections Community Choir, or Howland Band Boosters.
