He was predeceased by: his parents, Ella Luhaney and Rudy Luhaney. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Shaughnessy; his sister Joanne Luhaney; his sister-in-law Annita Homlitas (John); and his nieces and nephews, Beth Homlitas of Warren, Erin Henson (Chris), Brendon Shaughnessy of Santa Barbara, California, Daniel Shaughnessy (Nicole) of Connecticut, Brian Shaughnessy (Sharon) of Albany, Edward and Michael Shaughnessy of Easton. He is also survived by three great-nieces and four great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul and St. Mary Church, 232 Seneca Ave. NE, Warren, OH 44481.
