He was predeceased by: his parents, O. Alfonso Tatum and Ruby J. Tatum; his significant other Mary Margaret Tatum (Kincaid); and his children, Amy Lynn Tatum, Samuel David Tatum and Gale A. Law.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Margaret Tatum, Mary Catherine Drawl (David) and Lorie Fagan (William). He is also survived by 9 grand children and 20 great grandchildren.
