It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Troy of Warren, Ohio, who passed away on August 7, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sante Troy and Carmella Troy (Spagnola); and his sons, Robert Root Jr. and Christopher Root. He is survived by: his children, Roy Root (Misty), Dallas Root Sr. (Rhonda), Samuel Troy and Rosemary Cibella; and his brother Anthony Troy (Marianne). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
