It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Burton Wilkes Sr. of Warren, Ohio, who passed away on December 5, 2022, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother William "Bill" Wilkes; his sister-in-law Betsy Wilkes; and his daughter Laura Bostic. He is survived by: his parents, Benjamin Wilkes and Anita Coppage Wilkes; his brother Benjamin "Ben" Wilkes of Brookfield, Ohio; his wife Christina of Warren, Ohio; and his children, Sam Wilkes, Jr. (Lacy) of South Carolina and Connie Garcia of Sioux Falls. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren.
