He is survived by: his wife Donna Root; his daughters, Maria Knight (Terry) and Bernadette Deyermand (John Fox); his grandchildren, Britni Glancy (Dylan), David Deyermand (Mallory), Danielle Deyermand, Terry Knight Jr. and Amber Edie (Steve); his great grandchildren, Gavin Leroy, Gracelynn Claire, Emmalynn Paige and Sydney Edie; and his siblings, James Root, Mike Root (Valerie), Donald Root (Anna) and Judy Jenkins. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (381 Robbins Ave, Niles, OH 44446).
