He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Razo Hallwood and Lewis Hallwood. He is survived by: his wife Beth Gibson Hallwood; his daughters, Samantha Hallwood (Jason) and Jo Ann Hallwood; his siblings, Robert Hallwood and Chris; his brother-in-law Bob Gabrick; his niece Sarah Gabrick; and his nephew Joshua Gabrick (Eleni).
