With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Velma I. Bowman of Warren, Ohio, who passed away on September 10, 2023 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Bronson and Eva Bronson (Stroup); her husbands, Wayne L. Wilms and Glenn C. Bowman; her children, Sandra Kay Wilkenson and Richard L. Wilms; and her siblings, Violet Goff, Evelyn Bullus and Myron Bronson.

She is survived by: her daughter Maureen (Larry Seafert); her siblings, Belva Shoff of Melbourne, FL and James Bronson of Kinsman, OH; her grandchildren, Scott Gallo (Mary), Ross Gallo (Heather), Teresa Gallo, Dan Wilms (Jennifer), Eric Wilms (Michelle), Michael Seafert and Lauren Seafert; and her great grandchildren, Logan, Hailey, Isabella, Evan, Nicholas, Mallory Rose Gallo and Jacob Wilms.

Per Velma's wishes, any donations are to be made to the Braceville United Methodist Church 589 Park Rd. Newton Falls, OH 44444 in her memory.
