We announce the death of Virginia Begansky of Warren, Ohio, who passed away on September 9, 2026, at the age of 88. Virginia’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Berish and Mary Berish (White); her husband John Begansky; and her sister Rosemarie Murray. She is survived by: her sons, Matthew Begansky (Yuwen Ge) and Joseph Begansky (Doris); her sisters, Nancy Zipko (Joe) and Viola Sliman; and her sister-in-law Mary Jane Sicchitano.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Lane Funeral Home (Roberts Clark Chapel) (180 Garfield Dr NE, Warren, OH 44483). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish St. Mary's Catholic Church (232 Seneca Ave NE, Warren, OH 44481).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Theresa of Calcutta Parish – St. Mary's Catholic Church in Virginia's memory.
