He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughters, Cheryl Troutman (Dave), Valerie Brown (Denny) and Darlene Sacco (John); his grandchildren, Nate Brainard (Kate), Zach Brainard (Emily), Mark Beard (Mary Jessica), Joe Beard, Chad Brown (Chrissy), Seth Brown (Brooke), Brandon Bergin, Brenna Johnson (Scott), Kirsten Bergin and Karissa Wooten; his wife Helen Louise Brainard; and his son Lynn Brainard. He was also cherished by seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cortland United Methodist Church.
